THE RESULTS DON'T MATCH THE BIG TALK!
All we seem to do in this industry is talk BIG about how much we're making in our network marketing business when in reality, most of us are STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY.

We talk about making 6 figures a month, when in reality, most of us are worried about how to pay our rent.
We talk about PASSIVE INCOME, when in reality, we work harder and for longer hours than the full-time employees we talk down on.
Guys, let's just admit it: Many network marketers in Africa are struggling. Most of us are desperate to sign up the next person so we can get that commission that helps us survive.
But that wasn't what we were told about the business before we joined...
We were told we would never worry about money every again. We were told we would "work from home" and enjoy lots of free time. We were told stories of people who went from poverty to wealth just a couple years after joining the business, and were promised the same result.
So what really happened?
Are all those stories and promises lies?
Were we just tricked into joining the business?
If you're someone like me and have been worried about this, you're right to be concerned. I mean, how long do you have to continue struggling and hoping for that ONE recruit that will change your life?
So here's the thing... THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE INDUSTRY.
Did I just say that? YES!
A lot of network markers in Africa are quitting because they now believe the industry is a SCAM. They think all the promises are fake and none of those things work.
While I agree there are many liars and scammers out there parading as network marketing companies, the true network marketing industry is not a scam, and all those promises of FINANCIAL FREEDOM are true.
The only problem is, people have not been taught how to grow and succeed in this industry...as PROFESSIONALS.
Right now, I want to point out what I think are the TOP 3 reasons why people trying to build a network marketing business down here are STRUGGLING...
...and I'm going to share what you can do to change that reality in your business and organization.
Ready? Ok, let's go.
1. THE PREDATOR APPROACH!
This is the number one reason I believe people don't get the results they desire from this business. Their approach is completely repelling.
If you've ever watched any wildlife documentary of a predator, such as a lion, or tiger, or even a shark; you'll notice one thing about all of them...
Other animals don't want to get close to them...they always run away from them.
Where ever there is a predator, other animals avoid that area because they feel HUNTED.
Many people get into this business with the mindset of a predator. They think their job is to hunt for people... People to buy and people to sign up with them.
Unfortunately, when everybody around you begins to feel hunted, they'll begin to avoid you.
How many times have you tried to put a call through to a friend, probably to talk about something else, and this friend is avoiding you because he already thinks you are calling to talk about him joining your business...again?
This was how most of us destroyed our list. We hunted everyone in our lives and when they all started avoiding us, we decided to go online and hunt those strangers on our social media list.
The problem is; hunting people no longer works...weather you're doing that online or offline.
It may have worked for a few people in the past, when not many people knew about our industry. But today, almost everyone you meet has either heard about network marketing, or they have tried something they think was network marketing and got burnt.
So everyone is now suspicious. They don't want to be talked into joining a business that could blow up tomorrow. So once you apply this approach of hunting people, they avoid you.
How do you know when you are hunting?
When you begin to go after people with your products or your opportunity pitch.
When you meet strangers and you begin talking to them about your business.
When you go on social media and start posting your company products or opportunity (this is called throwing in the net and hoping to catch a few fishes).
When you slide into someone's inbox and begin sending sales pitches they never asked for...which they probably won't even read.
The PREDATOR APPROACH is at the top of the list...but it's not the only problem. This one problem, unfortunately leads to the next...
2. PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO DO WHAT YOU ARE DOING!
This is self explanatory... Most people are looking for a way to make more money, but not many people are ready to stick it out, go all out and do what it takes to make that money...especially when it looks difficult or like it's going to require them learning some skills.
Have you ever worked so hard to get a prospect to sit with you for a discussion, and then work so hard to present your compensation plan, and then work hard again to follow up on him, only to hear the person say, "I like your opportunity. It's a good business, but I can't do it... I'm a busy person." Or "I don't know how to convince people, so it's probably not for me".
These people are saying no to your opportunity, NOT because the opportunity you presented is bad, but because they're worried they may not be able to do what you are doing.
While you're doing everything to get a prospect to attend your meeting, and then giving a great presentation, your prospect is actually watching you, and is thinking "Wow, I don't think I can ever do what this guy is doing. It's too much of a hassle."
This is why rejection is so high and people struggle to make money. Because if you can't recruit people into your business, how would your business grow? And if your business isn't growing, how would you make money to pay up that rent?
This problem leads to the last one...
3. YOUR DOWNLINERS FEEL HELPLESS RIGHT AFTER JOINING YOU!
A lot of our so called leaders in network marketing are just focused on being SUPER STARS.
Unfortunately, network marketing is not about super stars. You may be great at prospecting and giving great presentations and handling rejections, and all that, which ultimately favors you and helps you recruit more people, but unless your downliners can do the same, you'll still struggle to grow and you may never get to enjoy this financial freedom you always talk to people about.
Financial freedom can only be achieved when your business can function and grow, with or without you. If your downliners can't prospect or present or recruit the way you can, your business is in trouble.
This is the number one reason we have a high rate of "drop outs" in this industry...especially in Africa.
People join the business and no body gives them a blueprint to follow. They're just left alone to figure it all out on their own. And when they try to do it the way they feel it should be done, they blow up their lists, get tons of rejections, ruin their relationships, and then finally they quit.
If you have been in this industry, you'll know how difficult it is to try bringing back a member who already quit the business. Most of them will never take your calls again.
This is why most leaders who have reached certain levels in their company cannot stop working hard. In fact, the higher most of them go in ranking, the harder they work to keep the check coming. But this is not the original idea of network marketing.
In network marketing, your hard work is supposed to reduce as your business is growing. That is how you get to become financially free.
SO WHAT CAN YOU DO?
✅ Start by CHANGING YOUR APPROACH. Instead of going after people with your opportunity or products, find a way to earn their TRUST.
Nobody will want to buy from you or join your business, unless they believe you have something to offer, beyond your product.
The hard truth is: People aren't even interested in how beautiful your products are or how juicy your compensation plan is. People are interested in YOU.
Do you have what it takes to help someone succeed? Can someone trust you enough to path with their hard earned money in exchange for your products?
Rather than throwing product samples at people, why not Share helpful ideas and tips that can help people solve a particular pain or problem they are facing.
This is especially for those building their businesses online using social media. Avoid spamming people with sales copies they never asked for.
Stop leading with products or opportunity, LEAD WITH VALUE.
It is VALUE that stands you out from the crowd of other network marketers who are all trying to sell. When people see you have value, they'll be interested in what you have.
✅ Find a way to simplify your business so people can look at it and believe they can do it. If you have been giving great presentations yourself, find a way to present your business without doing it yourself.
This can be done with videos, or sales pages, or websites, or printed materials. Anything that can do the talking away from you.
That way, prospects will see how simple it is, and they'll believe they can do it too.
✅ Develop a SYSTEM that allows your team members do everything you can do, without having to have all the skills and personality you have.
System consist of tools, events and scripts.
You must make sure there are tools available to do most of the talking. Make sure there are events, and make sure you have scripts your team can learn so they'll know what to say to prospects at any given time.
If you can learn to apply the above tips, your business will turn around and your team members will become excited about being in the network marketing business.
When you have a team of excited downliners rather than struggling ones, your income will continue to grow exponentially, and pretty soon, you will join the FINANCIALLY FREE Club.
